Beet Açaí Smoothie Bowl

Looking for a way to cool down from the summer heat? I got you covered! Adding antioxidant-packed açaí gives you an extra boost of nutrients during the day, and the protein powder to make sure you stay full for hours. Have some fun and top it off with any seeds, nuts, fruit and superfoods you love!

Total Time: 10 minutes

Yield: 2-3 Servings

Ingredients

1 frozen acai package

1 can of beets

1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

1/2 banana

1-2 scoops of Vanilla SunWarrior Blend protein powder

1 cup pea protein milk

1 tbsp maca powder

2 tbsp chia seeds

Fresh blueberries, bee pollen, cocoa nibs and granola for topping

 

Directions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a nutribullet, blender or Vitamix until smooth.

  2. Spoon the smoothie into 1-2 serving bowls and top with desired garnishes.

    Note: Can be made and kept in the freezer for 1-2 weeks. Let thaw at room temperature before serving.
