You can’t go wrong when you start off your day with chocolate. A vibrant, chocolatey stack that’s super fluffy and not-too-sweet. The cherry on top? Chocolate almond butter from Wild Friends!

Total Time: 20 minutes

Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

1 cup almond flour

1 scoop of Sun Warrior Vanilla Warrior Blend

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

1 tbsp melted ghee

2 eggs

½ cup almond milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp Enjoy Life! 69% dark chocolate chips

1 tbsp cocoa nibs

Garnish: 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds, 1 tbsp of Wild Friends Chocolate Almond Butter

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients.

  2. Turn on and warm up the waffle machine.

  3. In a small bowl, mix the dry ingredients.

  4. Combine the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Do not over mix. Add in the chocolate chops and cocoa nibs.

  5. Coat the waffle machine with cooking spray. Once the machine is hot, use a ¼ cup to pour the batter onto the waffle machine. Cook for 2 minutes.

  6. Serve immediately. Top with pomegranate seeds and Wild Friends Chocolate Almond Butter and sweetener of choice (I use two tablespoons of agave).
